Brunel University was founded just under 50 years ago as part of the 1960s UK universities expansion. Located in Uxbridge, approximately 45 minutes outside central London just a few kilometres north of Heathrow Airport, the University is well located for international students. The university is named after Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the famous engineer. Living up to his name, the university has a strong reputation in engineering - including renewable and innovative technologies. Degrees in most subject areas including business are also available and generally speaking, well rated.

Like its peers in the 1960s group of UK universities, Brunel is making a name for itself on the world stage and was recently named 29th best university under 50 years old by Times Higher Education. Brunel is a great place to study for those looking for an innovative university with a strong reputation in a quiet corner of London.
